On this website, I learned about several pieces of information that I had basically no knowledge on before. I learned that, when a trait (features, or abilities) is passed down, it does not always go from generation to generation, sometimes it will skip some, before it reaches you! I also learned that when you receive traits from your parents, you do not only receive traits from one of them, you take an equal amount of features and abilities from you mother, as well as your father. Lastly, i learned about many examples of traits. For instance, having your earlobes attached to the side of your head, is a recessive trait. This means that it is most common. A dominant trait, is a trait that is less likely to be found in a person, yet still possible.

I would imagine that the auther of Taking Sides is a boy. I think this because the whole book is about basketball, and although girls like sports too, men usually have so much of a pasion to write about it. I also think that he is an althletic type, and that he likes basketball.
